How importing a car from Korea works, step by step

You tell us the model, year, budget and the equipment you expect. We quote sample models for free, so you know whether importing from Korea pays off.

A specific search requires an agreement and an advance of PLN 599 gross for the search and online checks: shortlisting and analysing offers and contacting dealers. We refund the advance if we complete the purchase.

We go through Encar, KB Cha-Cha-Cha and local dealers' offers. We compare history and mileage in three databases, and damage in inspection reports and photos. We send you the selected offers by email or WhatsApp.

For cars over PLN 100,000 we recommend an on-site inspection: an assessor in Korea takes 30-40 photos, records a test drive and measures the paint thickness at a dozen or so points. It costs PLN 800-1,500. We check cheaper cars remotely - in databases and photos.

Once you accept the car, we sign the import agreement and you pay a deposit of PLN 5,000 gross, which becomes our commission after the purchase. If we buy the car from a dealer at a fixed price, you also pay a reservation advance. You know the full delivered cost before the purchase.

We buy the car from a listing or bid for it at an Encar or KB Cha-Cha-Cha auction - only up to the agreed amount. You pay for the car after the purchase, or after winning when bidding. We deregister the car in Korea and prepare the proof of origin that gives a car from a Korean factory 0% duty.

From the port of Busan or Incheon by container or RORO ship - container for cars over PLN 100,000, premium cars and electric cars in winter, RORO for cheaper cars. The voyage takes 4-6 weeks. On request, we insure the car during shipping.

You choose the port of clearance: Gdynia (23% VAT) or Rotterdam (21% VAT). After clearance you get the settlement by email.

Once the settlement is paid, we bring the car to the address you give us. Finally, you get an invoice for our service and all the documents needed for registration.
